CROSS RIGID BASE BELT

Our corrugated sidewall conveyor belts are designed to meet specific tensile strength and wear resistance requirements.

To accommodate angle changes, the base belt is engineered for longitudinal flexibility while
maintaining necessary rigidity in the transverse direction.

GRAND RUBBER's corrugated sidewall conveyor belt employs a specially structured cross rigid base belt, effectively mitigating deformation issues in large-sized conveyor belts during the return phase.

SIDEWALL SPECIFICATION

GRAND RUBBER sidewalls showcase innovative design and advanced manufacturing techniques. They ensure maximum flexing without fatigue, with profiles that offer excellent vertical stability for load retention and support. The design allows for high compression, ensuring seamless inner deflection around small radii.

A key design feature is the ability for sidewalls to be pressed from both sides during application to the base belt, offering superior bond strength and security. The diagonal fabric insertion enhances tear resistance and flexibility. Our rubber compounds are meticulously tested to ensure maximum flexibility, high abrasion resistance, and tensile strength, providing additional resistances as needed.
Sidewalls of type 120mm and above are equipped with special diagonal fabric reinforcement in the corrugations as standard, with this feature available for smaller sidewalls upon request.


CLEAT SPECIFICATION

The cleats are designed for optimum performance. C-type and TC-type cleat designs ensure maximum conveying capacity and excellent self-cleaning properties. Manufactured using a molding process, these cleats are made with specially developed rubber materials, ensuring stiffness and robust impact resistance. They maintain their shape even when transporting higher density materials. The unique rubber formula of the cleat is crafted for rigidity and enhanced impact resistance, preventing deformation from prolonged stress.
 

When the conveying angle is less than 40 degrees, the cleat is typically a T type. However, when the conveying angle exceeds 40 degrees, we recommend utilizing the more robust C type, TC type, or the highly efficient TCS type cleats. These options ensure optimal performance and reliability in your conveying operations.

Achieving the perfect cleat distance involves a meticulous fine-tuning process, taking into account its precise alignment with the undulating wave crest of the sidewall, as well as the strategic placement of the side bolt. This careful consideration ensures seamless integration and maximum functionality.
